These programs are designed as teaching tools and are therefore generally not suitable for independent work.

ITP’s support the use of ICT as a whole class teaching tool. When using them the emphasis is on effective whole class strategies, including teacher exposition and demonstrating, prompting, probing and promoting questioning as well as class discussion. They can be used to bring the class together to reinforce key points developed during the lesson.
